Sequoia-Backed Capillary Technologies Acquires SaaS Co Brierley

SaaS startup Capillary Technologies has acquired US-based Brierley, a customer-centric loyalty program provider, for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition marks Capillary’s fifth acquisition and will enable the company to expand its customer loyalty platform, upscale business, enhance product capabilities and partnership networks. With this acquisition, Capillary aims to deliver exponential value to its enterprise clientele, helping them improve customer engagement and loyalty. Capillary claims to have worked with over 250 brands across the US, India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and processed more than 5 billion transactions annually. The Bengaluru-based startup has Warburg Pincus, Sequoia Capital, American Express Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, and Filter Capital as backers. It filed for an INR 850 Cr IPO with SEBI in December 2021.

 Capillary Technologies, the Bengaluru-based SaaS startup, claims to have processed more than 5 billion transactions annually. Its investors include Warburg Pincus, Sequoia Capital, Avataar Ventures, American Express Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, and Filter Capital. The company’s recent acquisition of Brierley is expected to help it expand its customer loyalty platform, upscale business, and enhance product capabilities as well as partnership networks.
