Prime Minister Modi Unveils Transformative Infrastructure Projects

In a series of significant events scheduled for Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate a multitude of developmental projects worth over ₹19,100 crore during his visit to Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr. These initiatives span various sectors, showcasing a commitment to bolstering infrastructure, connectivity, and industrial development in the region.

One of the key highlights is the dedication of the 173 km long double line electrified section between New Khurja and New Rewari on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC). Prime Minister Modi will mark the occasion by flagging off goods trains from both stations, a move that is expected to significantly enhance freight transportation efficiency in the region. Additionally, the launch of the fourth line connecting the Mathura-Palwal section and the Chipiyana Buzurg-Dadri section is poised to improve rail connectivity, linking the national capital with Southern, Western, and Eastern India.

About Transformative Infrastructure Projects:

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate crucial road development projects, including the four-laning of the Aligarh to Bhadwas stretch (Package-1 of Aligarh-Kanpur Section NH-34), the widening of the Meerut to Karnal border via Shamli (NH-709A), and the four-laning of the Shamli-Muzaffarnagar section (NH-709 AD Package-II). These endeavors are set to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and contribute to the overall development of the transportation infrastructure in the region.

Another milestone on the agenda is the inauguration of Indian Oil’s Tundla-Gawaria Pipeline. This project is expected to play a pivotal role in the efficient transportation of petroleum products from Tundla to Gawaria T-Point along the Barauni-Kanpur Pipeline. With pumping facilities at Mathura and Tundla, and delivery facilities at Tundla, Lucknow, and Kanpur, this pipeline is poised to streamline the distribution network, ensuring a seamless supply of crucial energy resources.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the ‘Integrated Industrial Township at Greater Noida’ (IITGN). This development is a testament to the government’s focus on fostering industrial growth and creating employment opportunities. The integrated township is expected to serve as a hub for industrial activities, promoting economic development and contributing to the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Uttar Pradesh is marked by a comprehensive push towards infrastructure development, connectivity enhancement, and industrial growth. These projects not only signify a commitment to the well-being and progress of the region but also align with the broader vision of building a resilient and self-reliant India.
