In a recent backing round led by Mountain mates and with participation from Indian Angels Network (IAN), logistics company Pidge has raised$ 3 million to expand its logistics SaaS immolation, as per an advertisement made by the company in a press release. The rearmost backing follows a $ 1 million investment from IAN in 2021 and a former tone-backing round by the authors, who had invested $ 2 million.
Innovated in 2019 by Ratnesh Verma and Rushil Mohan, Pidge presently operates in five metropolises across the Delhi- NCR region, including Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon, and Ghaziabad. The incipiency claims to have enabled over 5 million deliveries and onboarded 400,000 network druggies, so far. The incipiency offers three crucial products: order operation, order shadowing and communication operation. Pidge allows enterprise users to manage their orders effectively via its operation platform.
Further, the incipiency’s personal algorithms in real-time order clubbing and dynamic batching ensure minimised lead times. Having eased further than 5 million deliveries and onboarded 300,000 network druggies, Pidge is aiming to tap into the Indian last-afar logistics sector, which is presently valued at $ 40 billion and projected to reach $ 100 billion by 2024. Pidge’s order tracking system uses a personal shadowing technology, which allows users to track their riders in real time. This also allows businesses to achieve maximum first- time delivery success, reducing the need for multiple delivery attempts and RTO in the case by reducing delivery failure, therefore saving rear logistics costs. The
incipiency also leverages its micro-fulfilment centres (Pidge Houses) for briskly and more-controlled deliveries. Incipiently, the incipiency’s communication operation system allows users to effectively communicate with their guests about deliveries, further perfecting first- time delivery success.
