NODWIN Picks 51% Stake In Branded For Expansion Into Event IPs

NODWIN Gaming, the e-sports and gaming arm of Nazara Technologies Limited, has acquired a 51% stake in Singapore-based media company Branded for around $1.3 million. With the acquisition, NODWIN Gaming will acquire all of Branded’s existing event IPs and onboard an international team, including CEO Jasper Donat. This move is expected to help NODWIN Gaming focus on growing international sponsorship revenue for all of its IPs globally and in India. Branded is a live media company that has built platforms like All That Matters, It’s a Girl Thing, and CreatorWorld. This acquisition will help NODWIN Gaming expand its existing events and co-create new properties in the APAC region and beyond.

It seems that Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, is thrilled about the acquisition of Branded. He believes that this acquisition will add multiple facets to expand and grow NODWIN Gaming’s ecosystem, and that the two companies share similar synergies in their love for gaming, sports, music, esports, and entertainment. Rathee also mentioned that the talented Branded team will help take NODWIN Gaming’s existing IPs such as Playground, The Premiership, NH7, and others international. It seems that Jasper Donat, Co-Founder and CEO of Branded, is enthusiastic about the acquisition by NODWIN Gaming and is looking forward to expanding their existing events and intellectual property (IP) as well as co-creating new and exciting properties around the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and beyond.
