Healthtech Startup Bonatra Acquires Health Focused MyAva

The platform offers personalised diet plans, nutritional counselling and teleconsultation services. On the other hand, Bonatra is focused on the treatment and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, fatty liver, PCOD, obesity, among others. Last year, the startup raised INR 5.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by ITI Growth Opportunities Fund. With the acquisition of MyAva, Bonatra aims to provide a comprehensive healthcare solution for women’s health issues as well.

Bonatra is a doctor-led startup that focuses on the treatment and management of chronic diseases using Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) devices. The company claims to use data from IoMT devices to analyze various health parameters and come up with personalized treatment plans for patients suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, fatty liver, PCOD, obesity, among others. The startup was founded in 2022 by Rahul Kishore Singh, Manjari Chandra, Ramanpreet Singh, and Amit Acharya.

In 2021, Bonatra raised INR 5.5 Cr in a pre-seed funding round led by ITI Growth Opportunities Fund. The funding round also saw participation from angel investors like Jitendra Jagadev, founder of Nestaway and Helloworld, and Rajesh Yabaji, founder of Blackbuck. With the acquisition of MyAva, Bonatra aims to expand its healthcare programs and become a one-stop solution for the management of chronic health conditions.
