The startup has secured USD 2.5 million in seed funding led by Mankekar Family Office and Ramakant Sharma, founder at Livspace.com. The funds will be used to launch Apptile’s platform, which allows Shopify businesses to create customised mobile apps without the need for coding or design experience. Apptile’s founders, Rohit Modi, Samyam Annappa, and Vishal Sood, aim to address the gap between the widespread adoption of mobile devices and the development of mobile apps over the past 15 years.

The no-code platform aims to empower DTC merchants to build strong brands, cultivate customer loyalty, and increase their lifetime value by offering an easy and quick way to create stunning mobile apps that integrate seamlessly with third-party services. With this latest funding, Apptile plans to expand its team and further develop its platform to offer an unmatched solution for businesses looking to leverage the mobile channel. Rohit Modi, the co-founder and CEO of Apptile, was previously the founding member and group CTO at Livspace, a successful home interior and renovation company.

He believes that Apptile’s no-code platform can help DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) merchants build strong brands and drive meaningful growth by cultivating customer loyalty and increasing their lifetime value. With the platform’s ability to create stunning mobile apps that integrate seamlessly with third-party services, Apptile aims to empower businesses to take advantage of the mobile channel and enhance their customer engagement.
