JioCinema, the streaming platform of Reliance Jio, has announced a content licensing deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution and Home Box Office, Inc. (HBO). As per the deal, JioCinema users will be able to access a wide range of Hollywood content from both the companies, including TV shows and movies, such as Game of Thrones, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, among others. This deal comes after the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) for which JioCinema had bagged the digital streaming rights. The move is expected to strengthen Jio’s presence in the streaming space and attract more users to the platform.
