India has witnessed a substantial surge in power consumption, registering a remarkable nine per cent increase from April to November in the current fiscal year. This spike, with power consumption reaching 1,099.90 billion units (BU) compared to 1,010.20 BU in the same period last year, is indicative of heightened economic activities within the country.
