Britney Spears' meth addiction

Britney Spears’ family and ex-husband, Kevin Federline, have raised concerns about the pop star’s alleged methamphetamine addiction. The “Toxic” singer’s recent erratic behavior and rambling outbursts on social media have prompted worries among her fans and loved ones. Kevin Federline, the father of Britney’s two sons, expressed his fear of receiving a devastating phone call informing him of her untimely demise. He also revealed that their children desperately want their mother to seek help.

In a documentary by filmmaker Daphne Barak, Kevin Federline shared his concerns, stating, “I fear she’s on meth – I’ve been praying someone would make it public and that she wakes up. It’s terrifying. She is the mother of my boys. Every time the telephone rings, I fear that there will be devastating news. I don’t want the boys to wake up one morning and find their mother has taken an overdose.”

According to the documentary, Britney’s sons refuse to meet with her due to their claims of witnessing drugs being delivered to her residence. Preston, one of the boys, expressed their desire for their mother to listen to them. The family’s worries extend to Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, who fears that his daughter may meet a tragic fate similar to that of British singer Amy Winehouse, who passed away at the age of 27.

Despite facing criticism from Britney’s fans for his role in overseeing her conservatorship, Jamie Spears emphasized that he was acting in his daughter’s best interests. He compared Britney’s well-being during the conservatorship to her current situation, highlighting his concerns.

Earlier this year, reports suggested that Britney would undergo an intervention orchestrated by Jodi Montgomery, her former conservator. However, the intervention failed to materialize, and Britney took to Instagram to deny its existence. Daphne Barak, who was present during the planned intervention, revealed that Kevin Federline was informed by Jodi Montgomery to prepare their sons for the event. However, the intervention never occurred as Jodi resigned, causing the plan to fall apart.

Preston and Jayden, Britney’s sons, have had meaningful conversations with their mother over the phone. However, they are not yet ready to visit her. The boys recalled past instances of Britney’s erratic behavior, including her insistence on bathing them when they were 11 and 12 years old and a disturbing incident where they found her standing near their youngest brother’s bedroom door with a knife.

The documentary reveals that Preston and Jayden feel powerless to intervene in their mother’s life. For now, they choose to stay away, hoping that one day Britney will understand their concerns, allowing them to rebuild their relationship.

Britney Spears’ family, including her ex-husband and children, have expressed deep concerns regarding her alleged meth addiction. While the pop star denies such claims, her loved ones fear for her well-being and hope she seeks the help she may need. The ongoing documentary sheds light on the complexities surrounding Britney’s situation, highlighting the importance of understanding and support in addressing addiction and mental health issues.
