ASCENT Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Harsh Mariwala, Chairman of Marco Limited, aims to expand its network of members across India. The organization provides a peer-to-peer learning platform to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise leaders, grouping them into Trust Groups of 10-12 non-competing members to improve their access to best practices. Currently, ASCENT has 850 members in three chapters covering 54 cities, with Mumbai and Chennai having the majority of the members. The organization plans to increase its membership to 1,000 by the end of the financial year, expand to Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad, and launch city-based chapters to help local entrepreneurs come together. The ASCENT Conclave’s seventh edition will take place in Mumbai on November 24, 2023. ASCENT’s Annual Health survey of 2022 shows that its members have experienced a 200% increase in revenues and a 50% increase in operational efficiency due to the networking opportunities provided by the organization.
